Beginning Fall 2006, two five-year programs are offered to specially
qualified students that combine either a Computer Science (Computer
Science Track) or Computer
Information Systems (Systems Analyst Track) major with a minor in Business
Administration and a
Masters of Business Administration degree. These programs are designed to
prepare graduates for positions in computer and information systems
management that require strong technical backgrounds, good communication
skills, and an in-depth understanding of the business world.
Suggested 5-Year Schedule
- Leading to BS in CIS, minor in BUS, and MBA
- Leading to BS in CSC, minor in BUS, and MBA
Application
Applicants to
the program must have a 3.0 minimum GPA. Those applicants with a
cumulative GPA less than a 3.4 will be expected to take the GMAT exam
prior to applying to the program. Interested students are strongly
encouraged to contact the director of the MBA program in the spring
semester of their sophomore year.
